Your AI vendor will deprecate their model. Here is why that should not be your problem.

The AI landscape shifts every 90 days. Most enterprises have no protection against what happens when it does.

Foundation models update constantly. GPT-4 became GPT-4o became GPT-4o with vision became o1. Claude 2 became Claude 3 became Claude 3.5 became Claude 4. Each update introduces capability improvements. Each update also introduces regressions: changes in output behavior that silently break workflows that were running perfectly.

We call this LLM regression. And it is the most underestimated operational risk in enterprise AI.

Here is how it happens. Your team deploys an AI workflow in Q1. It works. They train around it. It becomes part of the operational fabric. Then in Q3, the model provider ships an update. The model is now more capable overall, but its response format changed slightly. The downstream system that was parsing those responses now fails. Not loudly. Not with an error. It just starts producing wrong outputs, or no outputs, or outputs that go into a queue and never come out.

Most enterprises discover this when a user complains. By then, the failure has been running for days or weeks.

The standard advice is "version-lock your models." This trades one problem for another. You avoid regression at the cost of falling behind the capability curve. Your competitor's AI is getting better. Yours is frozen.

Weaver's proprietary interoperability layer was built to solve both problems simultaneously. It sits between the volatile model layer and your production systems. When a model updates, it absorbs the change, validates the outputs against your defined guardrails, and passes only clean, consistent results to your workflows. Your system gets model updates. Your workflows do not notice them.

This is not a feature. It is an architectural decision that protects every dollar of AI investment you have made from the moment your first production system goes live.

The AI landscape shifts every 90 days. Your investment should not have to.
